Two Game Modes
The long-term product should support both a quick solo mode for practice and a private room mode for real cross-device play. They share the same deck, pair rules, and winning-card ending.
Play instantly on one device. This is ideal for learning the rules, testing pace, and letting players enjoy the game even when no friend is online.
One player creates a room, another joins from a separate device, and the server keeps hidden hands, turns, pairs, and the winning-card check synchronized.
Round Setup
Pick a mode first. Solo starts a live local round immediately. Private Room Multiplayer shows the next build path for separate-device play.
Your turn is the only one that waits for input. Bot turns resolve automatically after a short pause so the round keeps moving.
Separate-device multiplayer needs a small server so each player can join the same round, keep hands private, and stay synchronized. This panel previews that flow and links to the implementation plan.
